Handyman costs in Little Elm: prices from real local jobs

By

Owner & Operations Manager

I’m Chance O’Shel, owner of The Smart Fix Handyman. We serve Little Elm, and I put this guide together from a sample of our local work.

The two well-described Little Elm jobs reused existing parts. That is a useful detail when you are comparing installation prices. I will explain what stayed in place and what the price added.

What these jobs cost

Three of the four Little Elm totals were below $500. The $311.80 median falls between the unnamed labor visit and the four-TV job.

Work included Smart Fix job price
Handyman visit; task not specified $161.50
Handyman labor; task not specified $243.60
Mounting four TVs, using two existing mounts $380
Interior closet door replacement with paint $732

Smart Fix Little Elm handyman prices: 4 jobs from $161.50 to $732, with a $311.80 median.

Smart Fix, 4 jobs, March 4 to August 5, 2026. The chart includes the whole price of each job.

Two records do not identify the work beyond general handyman labor. They remain in the sample, but the TV and door jobs give us more to learn from.

Four TVs did not need four new mounts

The $380 job placed four TVs on separate walls. The screens were between 55 and 65 inches. Two went on existing mounts, while the work included fitting two new brackets.

That setup matters when you compare another four-TV quote. Reusing a bracket and starting with a bare wall are different tasks. The record does not establish a flat price for each screen or the cost of buying every item.

For TV mounting, list each screen and wall separately. Say which brackets are already fitted and which you still need. Include any cable work you want in the request so it can be priced rather than assumed.

The closet door price included painting

The $732 job replaced an interior closet door while keeping the existing frame, casing and passage knob. It included fitting the replacement door and painting it to blend with the nearby doors.

The listed amounts were $420 to fit and hang the door, $210 for painting and $102 for materials. Painting made up more than a quarter of the total. A quote that stopped at hanging the door would cover less work.

Tell us if you want to keep the existing frame and hardware. A photo of the whole opening helps, along with a close-up of the damage. Our door repair service can help you describe the problem before we decide which parts need replacement.

Use the finished result to compare prices

Both named jobs reused something already at the property: TV mounts in one case, and a door frame and knob in the other. The next job may need those parts replaced.

Write down what you have and what you expect us to supply. For a door, include the paint finish. For TVs, include the mounting and cable work. That gives us a useful starting point for your own quote.

About these prices

We reviewed 4 completed Little Elm jobs from Smart Fix records saved on September 20, 2026. Each job total matches its invoice or invoices. Each job counts once, including jobs with several tasks. Prices include parts and tax charged, after any credits or discounts.

The median averages the two middle prices after sorting. Dates use work-start records. Cities follow the job address records. Customer details stay private. These past prices describe our sample; new work needs its own quote.
