A good fit if you
- Have 3+ years of paid home repair or remodeling work.
- Can handle drywall, paint, light plumbing, light electrical, and everyday repairs without a lead.
- Own your standard hand tools. We cover power tools or give you an allowance.
- Have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and can pass a background check.
- Want 30 to 40 steady hours a week, with your phone on during your workdays.
Probably not a fit if you
- Want 1099 or side work on your own schedule. This is a W-2 job with set workdays.
- Need every job booked days ahead. Jobs can be assigned the same day.
- Only do one trade. Our handymen take on whatever the home needs that day.
- Would rather not talk with homeowners. You explain the work and answer questions on site.
What you make
Hourly pay first. Bonuses on top. Nothing ever comes out of your hourly rate.
Starting pay
$30/hr
- Paid for work time, drive time, and required training.
- Time and a half after 40 hours in a workweek.
- W-2 paycheck. Taxes withheld. No chasing checks.
Performance pay
Finish a job under its time budget and bank the hours you save. Each banked hour is worth half your rate. Paid out monthly.
5% on extra work you sell
Spot more work on site, build the quote in the app, and earn 5% of the labor price when the job is finished.
$10 per five-star review
Every qualifying five-star Google review credited to you adds $10 to your pay.
Example
You work an 8-hour job alone and finish in 6. You bank 2 hours. At $30/hr each banked hour is worth $15, so that job adds $30 to your monthly bonus. Callbacks and overruns reduce the bank. A negative bank carries into next month. It never touches your hourly pay.

Mon-Fri runs about 30 to 40 hours. Mon-Sat gives you the best shot at a full 40.
Booking window: 8 AM to 8 PM
We can book jobs in that window on your chosen days. Your hours depend on the jobs booked, and some get assigned the same day.
Jobs near your home base
We plan routes around where you live to cut driving. Some jobs will still take you across DFW. Drive time is paid either way.
Time off in the app
Mark yourself out and the office sees it. Already booked that day? Tell the office so they can move the job.

The customer texts photos and details. We review them and quote straightforward repairs.
Hourly
Start the job in the app and the clock runs until you finish. Good for jobs that are hard to price upfront.

I grew up on job sites in DFW with my dad, a home builder. When I looked at the handyman business, I saw companies paying subs as little as they could and sending them into homes with no training.
