Handyman costs in Lewisville: prices from real local jobs

By

Owner & Operations Manager

I’m Chance O’Shel, owner of The Smart Fix Handyman. We serve Lewisville, and I put this guide together from a sample of our local work.

A price for one visit can cover more than one task. In Lewisville, one job included a mirror and an outdoor post. A gate repair gives us a clear split for labor and parts. Here is what each price covered.

What these jobs cost

All five Lewisville totals were below $500. The median was $274. Three records name the work; two give only a broad labor or repair description.

Work included Smart Fix job price
Handyman visit; task not specified $125
Ceiling fan replacement visit $140
Gate connection and latch repair $274
Approved repair work; task not specified $466
Small mirror hanging and an outdoor post installation $480.50

Smart Fix Lewisville handyman prices: 5 jobs from $125 to $480.50, with a $274 median.

Smart Fix, 5 jobs, February 24 to August 18, 2026. The chart includes the whole price of each job.

I have left the vague descriptions visible. A $466 total without a task list cannot tell you what a particular repair should cost. The other three cases offer clearer comparisons.

The $480.50 job combined indoor and outdoor work

This visit included hanging a small mirror on drywall and installing an exterior solar post. The customer supplied both items. The post work included digging a hole, setting the post in concrete and cleaning up.

That entire price belongs to the combined job. The mirror was just one part of the work.

If you want several items installed, send the full list. For hanging work, describe the item and the wall. For an outdoor post, explain where it will go and what base is already there. That helps us plan the work.

The gate needed a secure connection and a working latch

The $274 gate repair covered the loose connection at a brick wall. It also included latch work and alignment so the gate would close securely. The listed amounts were $245 for labor and $29 for materials.

A loose gate may have more than one problem. Show us the hinge or anchor side and the latch side when asking for gate repair. Include a view of the gate when closed. We can then assess which parts need work.

A quick task may still have a minimum charge

The $140 ceiling-fan visit had less than one hour of recorded work and a one-hour minimum. That describes the pricing on this past job, not a current offer for every fan.

When you call about a replacement, say whether you have the new fan and whether the existing mount will be reused. Ask for today’s minimum and what the quote includes. This record does not say who supplied the fan. Budget for the fan itself if you need to buy one.

About these prices

We reviewed 5 completed Lewisville jobs from Smart Fix records saved on September 20, 2026. Each job total matches its invoice or invoices. Each job counts once, including jobs with several tasks. Prices include parts and tax charged, after any credits or discounts.

The median is the middle price after sorting. Dates use work-start records. Cities follow the job address records. Customer details stay private. These past prices describe our sample; new work needs its own quote.
