The $315 median falls between the two middle prices of $210 and $420. None of these four jobs cost exactly $315. Use it to understand the set, then compare the actual work below.
What does resetting a sink involve?
The $467.50 job kept the existing undermount sink. The work included removing failed adhesive, preparing the contact surfaces and resealing the sink to the counter. The drain then had to be reconnected and tested.
The price split was $350 for the reset, $87.50 for drain work and $30 in supplies. The scope assumed the sink body and counter edge were intact. It did not include a cabinet rebuild or repairs to cracked stone.
If your sink has dropped, tell us whether you can see damage around the opening. The quote needs to cover both the support and the connections beneath the sink. A simple reseal and a damaged cabinet are different jobs.
What if you already own the replacement?
The $150 hose-reel job included removing the old reel and fitting the customer’s new unit to brick. Labor was $140, with $10 for fasteners and sealing supplies. The price did not include buying the reel.
For a similar mounting job, have the product details ready and show the surface where it will go. In this example, that surface was brick. The mounting hardware needs to suit both the wall and the item.
Why isn’t $420 a fan-only price?
That job has two service lines: bathroom fan work and appliance work. The record does not tell us which appliance or whether the fan was repaired or replaced. We can show the combined price, but it would not be a sound quote for a new fan on its own.
