The Smart Fix Handyman LLC is a Texas limited liability company providing professional handyman, home repair, and home maintenance services in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and surrounding regions. Our services include, but are not limited to, general repairs, installations, maintenance, carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, and other home improvement tasks.

All services are performed by W-2 employees of The Smart Fix Handyman LLC. We are fully licensed and insured in the State of Texas.

2. Service Estimates and Scheduling

  • Estimates: We provide estimates for our services based on the information you provide. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing may vary based on the actual scope of work, materials required, and on-site conditions discovered during the project.
  • Scheduling: Appointment times are scheduled based on availability. We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the scheduled window. However, due to the nature of service work, appointment times may be subject to change. We will notify you of any changes as promptly as possible.
  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellation policies and any associated fees, if applicable, will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, and other payment methods as communicated at the time of service.
  • If payment is not received within the agreed-upon timeframe, we reserve the right to pursue collection of outstanding balances, including reasonable collection costs and attorney fees to the extent permitted by Texas law.

4. Warranties and Guarantees

The Smart Fix Handyman LLC stands behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms for workmanship and materials will be communicated to you at the time of service or on your invoice. Any warranty claims must be reported to us promptly. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of God, or modifications made by parties other than The Smart Fix Handyman LLC.

5. SMS/Text Message Terms of Service

The Smart Fix Handyman LLC offers an SMS/text messaging program to communicate with customers regarding service requests, appointments, and — with your express consent — promotional offers and marketing messages.

5.1 Program Description

The Smart Fix Handyman text messaging program provides:

  • Service Messages: Appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, estimate notifications, technician en-route alerts, job completion updates, invoices, and customer satisfaction follow-ups related to the handyman services you have requested from us.
  • Marketing Messages (opt-in required): Promotional offers, seasonal specials, discounts, service reminders, and review requests. You will only receive marketing messages if you have separately and expressly opted in to receive them.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number from which you received a message. After you send the message "STOP" to us, we will send you a single SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

5.7 Carrier Liability

Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and network conditions.

5.8 Liability and Disclaimers

The Smart Fix Handyman LLC is not responsible for any delays, failures in delivery, or any other issues related to the transmission or receipt of text messages. By subscribing to our SMS services, you acknowledge and agree that The Smart Fix Handyman LLC will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from or related to the use of, or inability to receive, any text messages, including but not limited to delays, non-delivery, or technical issues.

Our text messaging services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5.9 No Sharing of Mobile Information

We will not sell, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or SMS/text messaging opt-in data and consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Information may be shared with our service providers (such as our CRM, scheduling, or messaging platform) solely for the purpose of delivering services to you, under strict confidentiality obligations.

Our text messaging program is supported by all major U.S. carriers. However, not all carriers guarantee delivery of all message types (e.g., MMS). Carrier support and message delivery are subject to change without notice.
